If the client pays his taxes it takes from 3 to 5 working days.

If the client requests tax exemption it could take from 7 to 10 business days.

Yes, all merchandise imported into the Dominican Republic must pay taxes, even if they are personal effects. Unless you can be benefited with the 146-00 law, which make exceptions for people moving to the Dominican Republic residents coming back as permanent residents.
